Today was a great day for her! She told a few doctors and nurses that she felt better today than she has in a month. She was chatty and funny. Bright and engaging. And my heart melted when I heard her laugh.
She’s back on a clear liquid diet. The difference this time is she isn’t feeling stuffed from a few sips of broth. And she’s passing it all the way through too! The doctor said her stomach has decompressed some also. Additionally, at one point today her pain was just a 2 on the 10-point scale!
The Vibe Tribe is kicking ass!!! She is humbled and overwhelmed (with joy) by all of the messages she’s been getting. So please take no offense if she doesn’t respond. There literally isn’t enough time in the day to respond to them all. But they encourage her. And they bring out her gorgeous smile.
If I could thank you all individually, I would. You’ll have to settle with a mass (ahem…) gratitude message from me instead: Thank you for loving Lara! Thank you for making her day.
